Rising from the ashes...

"Be nice to people on your way up because you meet them on your way down."
- Jimmy Durante
"The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."
- Samuel Johnson (1709-1784)
"A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both."
- Dwight D. Eisenhower (1890-1969), Inaugural Address, January 20, 1953

The ‘marathon’ started on Friday, officially ended on Tuesday.

Photographer from 1pm to 10pm odd on Saturday.
Juggled 3 cameras and two cam-corders.
It was kinda crazy.
On ‘high-alert’ for the whole period.
Make sure thing and that are taken care of and see to the other stuff that needs to be done…
Passion?
You betcha.
No other way I would wanna put it man~
Decline to have dinner in favor of making my way to visit Yueling.
I was cranky.
And I am sorry for my behavior.
Gotta do my best not to let that happen again.
Knocked out with 4 hours to spare before the alarm went crazy.

Thanks for calling me Yilinn… it was nice to be there even though I was not able to be… you know what I mean…
I hope Hui Min was happy with the present we got her… don care about what the lining is like lah… hahah…. It looks so classy and stylish from the outside!
And most importantly, the though makes the present worth the while no? :)

Happy Birthday to Hui Min and Marcus~
Congrats!
21 years have passed… the future can only get brighter! :D

Church.
Lesson wrap up.
Made for NTC.
Photography.
Picked up some tips from QB.
Need to be more focused to make sure the pictures I take are of the quality which is worthy.
Wanna do something – better do it well.
Had seafood for dinner. *yum-yum*
Black-pepper crab, chill crab, two kinds of fish, scallop, prawns, etc… *slurp~*
Makes me drool just thinking about it man…
What’s more, the fella I was sitting next too was rather dishy too…
-migumi laughter-
It was an evening to remember.
Oh yes, it was.
-loud migumi laughter-

I was so close to skipping ESAP on Monday morning I could literally feel it.
The pull of my pillow was great, but the desire to get to school was greater.
I was a real train wreck that day man… for the first time in my life, I put my head on my arm (with a t-shirt as a makeshift pillow), close my eyes, and slept during lecture.
MY GWAD!
O.O
I CAN’T BELIEVE I DID THAT!
Not once, but 3 TIMES!
-starts pulling hair out-
the good thing was that I was more awake and alert right after the 3rd knock out.
Which made the lecture more productive.

Very touched by the concern my friends showed for me through out the day.
Asking me what happened to me and how come I was not my usual energetic self.
Thanks guys~ :)

Could not decide whether to attend training or not that morning, so I ended up lugging everything to school.
Only to come to the conclusion that I was in no shape to join the class.
Headache, blurred vision and what not.
But I stayed to make sure the burned stuff got handed on.
Made my way home. Got my MM assignment finished.
Yaaaaay~
Got other stuff done as well, satisfying no?
Bitter sweet not to train, but it was for the best.
Tuesday would have been a horrible mess if I had not made the call to go home early.

Speaking of which, the lecture was not bad on Tuesday, though Aarvin could not make it.
Started the sniffs though… major cause of irritation, coz it was hard to breathe…
Lecture was productive. :)
Handed in my assignment.
Now I realize I have to finish the MSM one… yikes… I have to start doing it first ya? X.xlll
Hung around school to watch Aziz, Tanny and Kevin have their lunch before taking the train home with Aziz.
Once more I say: I have got to be crazy or some thing else to let him talk me into taking the train via the Kraji route home… @.@

Miscommunication/Lack of communication ruled the afternoon.
Was thinking of doing so many things that I ended up getting nothing done in the end.
As mentioned in my previous post, sleeping does not always help.
Getting up from the sleep was worse than staying awake… at least I think so…
Ended up not going to cell coz of the blasted flu, which seems to be taking control of my ashen body.
Yes, I am in the process of getting my energy back… wish me luck… I’m gonna need it big time… another ‘marathon’ weekend coming up…

Just viewed a video of my friend’s birthday.
Saw someone whom I have not seen in months…
Our relationship ain’t what it used to be…it that a cause for concern?

Made plans to meet Yueling to study on Wednesday morning.
Did just that but ended up sending her home early.
Hope you are feeling better now girl~

Pepper Lunch is freaking expensive!
God only knows why I would fork out so much just to ta bao it home to eat… x.x

Took a nap before heading down to SIM for training… to be honest, I was rather tired and so had to resort to hiding my eyes behind the sunglasses…
BUT
For the first time in ages, I ran with the team… did my rounds… and my knee did not give me problem.
Praise God! :D
Kicking was good too… better than usual lah… more than I could hope for…
Rushed down to Kovan with Sir.
Made good on my poomsae for the evening.
Did some more kicking… have to get the 360 + Back thrust combination done well…
Need help… argh~
Went home without dinner… hahaha…

Today’s lecture was William’s last lesson with us.
He told us last week that he was going to quit SIM to go back to the corporate world.
Thank you for the head’s up William but I seriously do not think SIM should have let you go…
Brought my camera to school for this occasion… we all wore black, save Aarvin… took pictures at near the koi-pond after lecture ended and now, I am in the process of sending them to the CF-ers ;)
Lunched with David and his lecture mates at Potong Pasir before heading home, checking my mail and going comatose on my mattress…
Good thing I did not have tuition today… then again:
No tuition = no money
But
No go out = save money
And considering that I have been spending a lot of money recently (eg. Training and grading fees) …
Save money = good
Yes… the different edges to life.
-hits head against the wall-
and oh!
My knees and ankles are hurting now… way to go aye?
It was good while it lasted anyway… have to rest for the upcoming ‘marathon’… hahah…
Thanks for the presents Aarvin :)
Going crazy about the lollipop!

Yingying~
When we meeting up?

Parveen~
Do you go on holiday next week?
We still got a movie orgy to have…
-psychotic laughter-

Yang Mui~
How have you been girl?
So long never see you liao… I’m really missing the old days… not that they are really that old, but you know what I mean…
What’s your schedule like?
Wanna have a round, or rather, a few rounds of mahjong with Tanny?
We’d just be missing a ‘leg’… heeheee… but meeting up with you is more important… K-Box?
Heehee…

Yue Ling~
How was the Circuit Road visit?
Still going Changi tomorrow?
Sorry I can’t go with you this week… perhaps next week?
But have to let me know in advance so I can set the time aside…
As it is, Tuesday and Wednesday have been burnt liao… have to go from West to East… hwah seh xia~
Grow wings and fly~~~~
If I could grow wings, I would grow a battery pack so that I won’t burn out the one I have now…
-hysterical laughter-
Saturday 11pm on?
-more hysterical laughter-

Much to do… shall end here for today…

It begins tomorrow…
The joy of the Lord is my strength!
WOOHOOO~~~

^-^
